I have two, one on a sig 220 EL with the rail and I just put another on a colt ar. I have had one for a year and a half with no problems. I did not get mine for 80.00 however.

I have two that I've owned for 5-6 years on both and they have taken a beating and keep on working. The only I've replaced on them is the batteries. They have seen use on my AR, Mini 14, Rem 870 and I only shoot slugs and Glock 20 10mm. They handle the recoil fine.

I just got a M-3X off the EE for $120 LNIB. Just got it today, but it clamps on easily and holds firmly onto the rail of my Glock 17. It's nice and bright; it has no problem lighting up my entire hallway. Switch works fine; push the switch up with your trigger finger (righty) to turn it on temporarily, and push it down to make it stay on. Once in focus, the beam is very crisp, with no black spot in the middle of the beam.

Very nice light so far, albeit I don't have any range time with it yet.

Different gun, different source, but same use, and same results.
