Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Anyone have a link to a Sig P226 torture test ?

Do any exist ? want to know how it stacks up against that Glock 21 test out there.

The only one I have heard of is the XM9 trials, in which I understand that the Sig P226 and the Beretta were the only two to successfully complete the trials. I have tried to find specifics of this trial to know avail.
Does anyone have a link that explains exactly what these weapons were subjected to in the military trials?

Well, no real torture test.

But I can report that Sigs are extremely realible, even when extremely dirty or poorly kept for.  Though I doubt one would match up with the Glock 21 in the above mentioned test. But I am confident my Sig 226 will function realibly in every situation.
