Thegunsource.com has the 5" on their site, but I just read about someone else waiting till May.  Are these really out yet or just the 4" version?

Damn.. I gotta wait for the 5"  Any idea when it will be released?  I just got the ok from the wife to get a new handgun.  Maybe I'll have to get something else.

we got our first 45acp right before new years if I recall, had a run on them, and now we have plenty, and they are selling briskly.  The 4 inch gun seems really nice, its seems just a little bit larger than the 40 or the 9. I think you should grab the 4 inch gun, it would be easy enough to conceal. Dunno about a 5 inch tactical model, do really see to much need for it IMHO, but hey when they hit the streets you should have enough cheddar saved to get both, true ar15 fashion.

I had both the XD9 Service and XD9 Tactical.  I didn't really notice much of a difference in accuracy inside of 50yds between either pistol.  I traded my Tactical in for the 45ACP.  If I were to buy another 5" XD, I'd have to wait until the Custom Shop came out with a 45ACP version.
