Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Star BM – Which countries used them as a sidearm?

Does anyone know which countries issued the Star BM as a sidearm? I know either South Africa and/or Rhodesia did, plus a few other African countries, any in South America, Asia, or Europe?

Well . . .

I know several countries the the Star "B" model, but as far as I know only the Spanish Civil Guard used the "BM" model.

By the way . . . just last weekend I picked up a "BM" model at the local toy show.  It's an Interarms import, not the recent imports you see wow.  Wold rate it at "90%".  Grand total of $190, OTD.

A really nice, compact 9mm . . . .
