Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Engraving a 1911...

Its my dads 50th birthday coming up and he likes 1911 stlye pistols.  I want to get one that i can have something engraved one it.  I was thinking somethingalong the lines of the 25th ann. Kimbers.  Something along those lines.  It will just be in the display case that he has.  Not for shooting.  If anyone has any ideas i would appreciate it.

I think one of the 25th Kimbers would make a nice present, but it would be shame now to shoot it.
