1. Hey just curious did it come cracked or did it crack while you were shooting it?
2. Did it crack with factory springs ir with heavier springs? Thanks. |

Cracked while at the range...Federal 10mm did it I think....This gun is a full size frame and compact slide with factory springs... They are the dual spring set up, like the old Detonics recoil system ( That was 3 springs actually) but, it was a factory set up... Im going to order the 22lb. .40 spring for this gun from gunsprings..
For you guys that have a 10mm Witness..... Dont shoot the high pressure Powerstrike or the old Norma full power loads.. I was tempted, but glad I didnt.. |

I have shot double tap stuff in mine no problem with the 22lb spring and that fairly hot.
