What is this blue book at? Internet? a book?
|
Yes, it's a book. Written by S.P. Fjestad, it's widely used & considered to be most accurate & inclusive value book.
a company named SECRET SERVICE SPECIAL.
Again, no such listing in the Blue Book.
It is chambered for .32 S&W.
Models of revolers in this caliber were sold NIB as recently as the 1970s, IIRC? Seems that the .32S&W caliber was a rimmed cartridge that didn't recoil much, as to bother folks with arthritus & such. Old women with smaller hands liked this caliber too.
Look on the sideplate of the gun, if there's not a
S&W logo there, then it's not a
S&W frame. If it's merely stamped on the barrel, then that's the caliber only. Don't go by what the grips say, I've seen different grips get put on a Rossi & they ask a S&W price too.
