I just sold my XD9 to a friend and I can't decide what I want to replace it with. Another XD9 maybe a bi-tone? Glock??? Anyone have any ideas?? I will use it for mainly plinking, maybe a little ccw, but have my G19 for that.

I would say so, yes.

I give glocks a lot of shit, but they are right up there with them, IMO the quality of them doesnt touch HK though.

I'd skip the HK..they make better rifles then hand guns. Get a SIG 229 in .40 and never look back. The 229 is probibly the strongest .40 ever designed. The XD is also a fine hand gun but get a .40 or the new .45ACP XD.

If you get a Glock 17 (or 34), you can share mags and often holsters with the G19.  You will also have the benefit of a common operating system and trigger pull.

The G17 and G34 are also good guns for competition purposes if you ever decide to shoot any matches.

I've had some Glocks over the years and have noticed that I shoot better with them when I use Glocks exclusively.  It's harder for me to go back and forth between Glocks and other "normal" handguns.
