I have an unusual problem.  Due to the installaion of an overtravel stop, my Glock 30 will not fire.  How can I get it back out?  Is there any way to break the gun down without pulling the trigger, or get the whole trigger out without removing the slide?

By way of trial and error, more errors than anything, the slide can be removed without pulling the trigger by removing the firing pin.  I would not recommend doing this because it sent parts flying, but it did work.

lock the slide back
leave the mag in to keep the slide from closing on your hand
remove the slide cover plate and remove the striker/firing pin then remove
remove mag
you should now be able to remove slide
