Revolver or semi? Brand? There's some variables in there. For a revolver, I'd send it to S&W, IMO. For a semi, either S&W or maybe Robar in AZ?

For the cost of a standard blue job, Robar does an outstanding bluing job, and the wait isn't too long.  Most gunsmiths wait until they have a bunch of work to do before firing up the tanks, so you might as well go with a place like Robar.
