I realize that nothing takes the place of learning from a qualified instructor, but . . .

I've been shooting rifles for years, and have recently purchased my first handgun, a Springfield 1911 Operator.  So far, I've acquanted myself with the gun and have been to the range about 6 - 7 times.  I'd like to learn more about proper technique to improve my skills and to allow me to learn correctly from the start.

Can anyone point me to a website that may begin to illustrate and explain some of the different handgun shooting stances, etc.?

Thanks in advance,

M.L.
