I have not seen a single pair of nickel-plated sights on any pistol and I wanted to ask you guys what happens if you were to have nickel-plated sights instead of blued sights?  Is the light color simply not good enough for helping you line up the dots of the site?

Correct. Too much glare from the sun to be useful.

I have a set on my Combat Commander and they suck pretty hard.

The color just washes out against any lit background.

King-tappans are on my short-list.
