Both handguns are both based off of submachineguns and both are in 9mm.  With the added capacity of the quad stack mags (50 rnds) and at a quarter the cost, why isn't the Spectre more popluar.  How does it rate when it comes to reliability? Is it a decent firearm or is it about as bad as the Tec-9?  I was thinking about getting a Bobcat SP-89 clone but the Spectre seems like a viable option.

Those guns are pretty neet. They have a decocker so if you want you can carry it ready to fire with the first shot being double action. Ive seen a few with top folding factory stocks that fit flush on the gun & 16 inch barrels.  Heres what the top folder looks like folded world.guns.ru/smg/smg21-e.htm

I would rather get something else with my $1000. It looks cool for sure but it realy is just a long pistol. To each his own though.

Looks like the seller is GYZ from HKpro.com he is a good guy to deal with.

The Spectre is a rare gun. And I don't think enough were sold to make it popular, but like the Steyr SPP.  The SP89 is rare, and popular because is a HK and the fact that ti can be made into a MP5K with a transferable sear.
