I finally got around to shooting my Bulgy Mak. Decent little piece, seems to be accurate. Very well made, though the finish is a bit crude. It is built like a tank.

Not bad for a 150 dollar piece.

I'm guessing the "Ruger" in his handle refers to his rifle.

Good job!  That right there is the best freakin' deal in handguns on the market right now.  Good to see you got one before they all "dry up".

MAKS are good shooting pistols. Yes, the surface is a little rough  on the Bul. but you made a good choice for a first pistol!  I still kick myself for trading a German Mak. I bought back in the late eighties for $135.  Fantastic finish for a used weapon and accurate as any pistol I've owned.  It came with two different grips, orig. holster and three mags.  Just so you know... German Maks. are the best quality (fit and finish). I traded it for a Browning Buckmark summer of 2000!  I miss that gun!!!
I was just at a gun show lately and saw 1 (one) German MAK. for $450 and it wasn't in as good as shape as the one I owned.... DAMN!!!
