Also, though this may be tougher-what was the pistol that Tom Hank's character used in the last scene? I thought that earlier it looked like a colt .38 (I'm not familiar with the older models) but at the end I wondered whether it might not be a larger caliber than .38. Was there a short barrelled .45 Colt or something similar in that time period?
