For "deep" CCW, the Kahr fits my needs much better than the wider G26. In fact, I can hide a G19 about as easily as the 26...but that's just me. The Glock will have interchangeability of mags, and some holsters also, but all in all, the G26...for me...is not a really viable deep concealment handgun. I am sure others will disagree, and that is how it should be, but the Glocks are just too wide for some applications for this shooter.

I agree with ikor. The PM9 is much more concealable. I carry mine everyday, everywhere.

You can't really go wrong with the Kahrs (as with a Glock), but as people have said the Kahr is much more concealable. The main positive for the Kahr is that it is so thin, under 1 inch thick, which is very nice. I have a P9 Covert which I love and would recommend to anyone, even over the PM9.

I was going to get a Kahr over a G26 until I priced the mags.
 I had sticker shock from the price of extra mags for a Kahr. I got a G26 and have never looked back. The thickness of the Glock doesn't irritate me since I know there are 10, 124gr 9mm +Ps at my disposal.

Never did update this so I thought I should:
I ended up getting the G26. The Kahr is a fine weapon but I just couldn't find the right price on it. Anyone have an IWB holster recommendation for the G26? Thanks.

I like my Comp tac, C-TAC IWB holster. It conceals the subcompacts very well.

+1 I had a G26 traded it for a PM9. Love the gun, feeds everything so far, accurrate, and no problems. Nevermind didn't scroll all the way to the bottom. |
