What do you guys think about the Navy Arms replica revolvers like Schoefields etc.? I have a couple Navy Arms cap and ball revolvers and the quality seems supurb in comparison to some of the cheap soft steel crap that you see out there. Just wondering about the cartridge firers.

My fuzzy knowledge is 5-6 years out of date but at that time the Navy Arms firearms were a bit better than the other assortment of imports.

btt, was wondering the same thing.  Just watched Young Guns 2.  Need a cowboy copy!

Don't they make the old style guns that shoot modern cartridges like .357mag, etc?

Get a Ruger Blackhawk.  shoots .357 as well as (gasp) 9mm luger/para.  Real blast.

Check out Dixie Gun Works & order their catalog. Lots of replicas in there.

Navy Arms & Uberti seem to be the better of the eye-talian replica brands, IMO.

My knowledge is out of date also - but Navy Arms guns used to be made by one of
the more prominent Italian Firms which also makes cartridge firearms.

I believe their guns are of higher quality than most replicas still.
