Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Lasik ?

 My vision is not the best and I require glasses.  Lasik is an option for me. I do know that post procedure at night there are strong halos around things. I do carry and am concerned that night or low light  sight alignment could be a problem.

   Is there anyone on the list who has  had Lasik and could give their comments?

My roommate had lasik done to him about 9 months ago.  His eyes were very sensitive to light for the first three months.  He could see pretty well then, didn't need his coke bottle lenses anymore.  In the second three months, his night vision came back as his eyes healed.  His vision also improved.  Now his sensitivity is back to normal, and his eyesight is holding true.
