Welcome o the club.. I know the feeling.

I work from 10:30pm - 7:00am Wednesday night through Sunday night. Having Monday & Tuesday nights off.

I've wanted to go to some of the local meets but its been hard plus the wife complains about the kids driving her crazy....

Did that kind of crazy schedule for 10 years. Finally had enough. I feel for ya.

BTDT, got the tee-shirt.  New schedule is now
0530-1730 Sun/Mon/Tues and 0530 to 1130 on Wed.  From Wed noon until early Sunday morning is almost like a mini vacation each week, if you plan accordingly.

Look at the bright side... you have plenty of time to take care of errands on your days off.

Also, I'd imagine the fishing holes are pretty deserted in the middle of the week.

I'd gladly give up having Sunday as a day off if I could take a day off during the week.

It must be hard missing all those gun shows, though. :(

My first three years in law enforcement I worked mostly midnights, with an occasional evening shift. First two years I had either Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday off. Finally got enough new guys coming on the department behind me that I wrangled Sunday/Monday as days off and could attend IPSC and Steel Combat matches (Sunday mornings). After working from 2200 hrs Saturday to 0600 hrs on Sunday my shooting sometimes wasn't worth crap but I did get to go shoot.
