Went out and bought myself a 1911 in their Black Stainless finish with Novak sights. Haven't shot it yet, but it sure is pretty. Anyone else have one?

I have a Loaded stainless with white dot Novak's. If you like it as well as I like mine, you will never part with it.

The trigger in it sucks though. It kind of wobbles in it's place and has too much creep.  If I were to order a drop-in trigger from Wilson, would that improve it?? Thanks

Get the other trigger, not the drop-in.

It's not terribly hard to fit a trigger, and you'll enjoy the tighter fit.

Explain to me how you would fit a trigger please.  I'm sure it's not that hard, just don't know where I'd start.

There's an oversized pad in the front of the bow. Long story short, you hone it down until it will just barely fit into the frame and slide without hanging.

That's the 2-sentence version.

Not hard at all.

A2- What is the model number of yours with Novaks?  Are they night sights?

No, they aren't night sights. Just regular white dots.  My local gun shop had it and it comes with a special Springfield armory wooden cedar box.  I was intending to get a parkerized one, but I couldn't pass this up. I have to change the thumb safety though, it's not an extended one.  But that is just cosmetics.

Mine shoots great, had a few problems with the mags, not holding the slide back. Great gun!
