Ah!!! Those guns are sweet. Way out of my price range though. I wouldn't pay over about 1k for a good handgun.

I've seen people use them to perform a chamber check, but doing so, puts your hand/fingers near the muzzle end of the gun. Not smart, if you ask me. |

Thats because they SHOULD be coming up from under the slide to press-check the chamber. No part of the hand is forward of the muzzle that way. |

It's looks all "tactical" and stuff. I like it so I must be nutz too.
 And you're right about press checking using the front slide serrations. I see Steven Seagall do it in movies all the time.

Yeah, they do. I'm not a big fan of alumagrips anyway. I prefer grips with at least some insulation qualities. Not too impressed with the front serrations, I think they ruin the line of the gun. I wouldn't mind having them on a pure combat gun but I tend to prefer a more traditional look. |

I wonder what actual use would do to the finish over time...I'd have to make it a "safe queen" or "range gun", using my SS or hard chromed .45s to do the dirty work. |
