I am seriously considering the Kimber Ultra Eclipse II, But I just have a real problem with a handgun that costs that much green.
I "MIGHT" be willing to trade my HK USP .45 Compact partially to defray cost (I know, I know...but sometimes we don't have a choice...)
Opinions, as this will become my primary carry gun.
Thanks for the input.
Pit

Shoot a SiG 220 before you decide.

I think that it's now called an Eclipse Ultra II, but I could be wrong.  Just might help in your search for info.  That's a sweet gun, PitViper.  Very tempting.
You might want to try to hit the www.1911forum.com/ forums if you want to read a bunch of reviews from guys who are in to 1911's.
Good luck, and post photos.

I have sinned and swapped something I liked towards something I wanted. Some of the time, I regretted it too. If at all possible, either save up some money or put it on plastic or a combination of both?  At least, never give up a known entity for an unproven one, especially if its your only carry gun. IMO. Yeah, I know, that Kimber is a looker!
