Well, I broke out the digital camera this evening and snapped some pics of my HK's.

Here's the Mark 23 and the Tac.  The marks on the Tac is from oil.  The flash just made it look kinda funny.  The Mk 23 is a AA date code (2000) and the Tac is a KK (1999).  Both have held up great with no failures at all.  The Tac is starting to get a purple extracter.....

Here's my HK collection:

Starting top right and going clockwise:

USP40f 40 cal V1
USP9c SS 9mm V1
P2000SK 9mm V2 (LEM trigger)
USP9SD 9mm V1 with AAC Phantom 9mm can and Jarvis O-ring barrel threaded for the can
Tactical 45acp
Mark 23 45acp with AAC Tactical 45 can and Insight LAM450 light-laser combo

compuvette, how do you like that P2000SK?  I haven't gotten to handle one yet, but they look good.

My brand new USP Tactical that I picked up last Wednesday. I'd like to get an aluminum Brugger & Thomet (spelling?) Impulse IIA suppressor for it in the near future. Does anybody know about adapting a slide lock mechanism to your pistol like is described on AWC's website? :

No facts to back this up, but HKpro was saying that using a slide lock feature can damage the USP frame...  Something I heard when I asked the same question.

I LOVE the P2KSK!  I'm close to getting rid of my compact because the 2K is that good.  I shoot much better with it plus it's smaller.  I'm really shocked how much better it is than the USP compact.  I'd recomend one to anybody.

I've always loved the Match guns.  Just have never picked one up.  Nice setup!

Dang, I wish I could find one of those Match H&K's. Saw one in my local gunstore 5 years ago and didn't go for it....

Uh, all depends on the need.  For a range gun, the Mark 23 is awful hard to beat.  For CCW the P2KSK is the way to go.  The others have their uses too.

Unfortunately, I do not have a Mark 23 to compare it to.  Perceived recoil is very light.  Actually, my woman friends prefer it to the 9mm for that reason, and because they are more accurate with it (longer barrel).
