My fun shop has a set of SW99's.  A 45 and a 40 compact.  I'm thinking really hard about picking one of them up.  I've got a HK P2000SK in 9mm that's my everyday gun now, but I'm thinking one of the Walther/Smiths would be a nice addition.  The 40 compact is smaller than I thought it would be and the 45 is bigger than a standard P99.  I've owned a Walther P99 in 40 cal before and liked it, but got on a Glock kick (which I'm very out of now) and traded it.  All I've got now is Sig and HK (well and a Walther P22).  Anyway, what do you guys think?

Its the exact same thing as a P99 just different trigger guard and some of the other aestetics.  If  you liked the P99 and can deal with the grip length you already know what its going to be like.

I like my SW99 40cal.  Great shooter and accurate.  It is basically a P99 only a few different cosmetic changes.  If you liked your P99 you will like the SW99.

I've got a SW99 in .45acp & it balances & shoots nicely, IMO. I use it for my CCW on occasion. Other than my S&W 41 & 52, it's the best S&W semi I've ever shot or owned.
