General consensus is Wilson Combat, closely followed by Chip McCormick.  This goes for standard and 10rnd. mags.

I believe you can save a little at CheaperThanDirt, but you're limited more or less to 47Ds. The 47D is great, but you might want the black coating and thin baseplate for carry, in which case trusty Brownells is as good a place to get them as anywhere else.
Considering shipping, you might just want to get them all at Brownells.

Not to be a smart a$$, but the ones that funtion/fit the weapon.

Kimber guns? ... Kimber factory supplied mags., etc.

A semi-auto is only as good as its mags.

Yup on 7 or 8 round mags.

Ive yet to meet a 10rd 1911 mag Id trust.

I agree on the Wilsons

Wilson also makes a great 10 rounder, I haven't had problems with mine but I dont know if I would ever use them for CCW

+1 for Wilson - all I use in my 1911s (the factory mags that came with them have never even been used...)

Another vote for Wilsons. Don't waste your money buying anything else.

Is Wilson that much better than, say, McCormick?  Can get them both at CTD or Brownells, so might as well get the better one.

These Cobra Mags work in both my 1911's, which are a Kimber TLE/RL II and a SA TRP.  My friend uses them in his Wilson Combat CQB and likes them as well.  I have never had a problem with them.  They feed perfect 100% of the time.  They have modified feed lips and reinforced followers to help prevent wear.

The only ones I use are Wilsons, mainly 47D's, and Chip McCormick Power mags. There is a world of difference between the Power mags and regular CMC shooting star mags, so If you get some, spend the extra 3 bucks and buy the power mags!  Both the Wilsons and Power mags run great in my 1911s, I won't use anything else.

I have 10 mags for my 1911, all Wilson 47Ds.  None of them have malfunctioned.

have had no problems with my Wilson 47D or my Act-Mag(except the baseplate is to big and interfears with my magwell), the spring in the CMC 8rd mags seems to be weaker than the Wilson.

Wilson 47D - end of story, the only ones I trust my life to.

I do have CMC mags that work well, and their extra power mags are interesting but the Wilsons are proven beyond doubt.

I've got only Wilson 8 round mags.  They work all the time in my TLE/RL.  I think they are worth the money, but I also believe the follower needs to be improved.  I wish the skirt was a little longer, like the 7 round ones.  I don't know that they can do that, because the mag body may not have enough length.  The Cobra mags look nice, but why spend that much money to replace something that is working 100% already.....
