Those Ahrends Grip Panels are Beautiful. Brownells site is not popping up for me but they are listed in the catalog. I don't believe he has a website, but he is a very nice guy and will talk to you on the phone if he has the time. I have several sets of his 1911 stocks and prefer them to anything else generally.

Great quality grips. I have a pair I'd sell if you are interested... Laminated "Apple Jack" checkered grips. I have 2 pair and they are the only ones I have ever seen. Must have been discontinued.
