Looking for a holster for my brand new Charles daly full size.  I would like to get two holsters, one for carry underneath  button up shirt/ jacket, and a hoster for hunting/ being out on the farm ect. I'm a bigger guy 52" chest 260lb. Concealment won't be difficult on my frame.  For the hunting farm I would like to get a shoulder or drop leg, something that could be worn outside some winter clothing.  And the last requirement, I don't want to spend more than about $40 a piece.

Please post links

thanks

anyone?  Is $40 not enough for a decent holster?

I can't think of a good one for that price.  You might find something in Kydex, but I'm not a Kydex fan.  Avoid Fobus.

For $23 more you can have this...

Sparks Summer Special

... but as others have stated you probably won't get much quality for only $40.

Check out www.donhume.com/ Don Hume holsters are made in the USA out of quality leather and most retail under $40. I have a double 9 cocked and locked 1911 unlined holster from them. I paid about $30 for it.

I use the Milt Sparks Summer Special II. It has a high side tab against the body. Tony Kanally suggested the II instead of the original. However, YOU CANNOT GO WRONG WITH ANYTHING FROM MILT SPARKS!
I am about the same build size as you and they work great. Galco is another great supplier as well. ElPaso Saddlery has some great products for your shoulder holster. Check them out!!!
