How easy/hard is it to remove duracoat ?

I am considering buying an old pistol, but someone ruined the original finish by duracoating it. I am not sure how involved the process would be to remove it.

An epoxy stripper will remove it without any real issue.

Just be sure to wipe the frame down with warm water during the process, ie do not let the epoxy soak into the frame (especially if its plastic).

Just do about 500 practice draws out of a holster.
