I just saw Cabela's is selling bulk ammo in .357SIG, .40S&W and .45ACP. It's only $59.99 for 300 rounds. I prefer name brand ammo for carry but at this price it would be good for the range. Anyone try this ammo for range/plinking use. Is it clean?

I bought a case of it when I used to live just up the road from the Cabela's in Dundee, MI.  It was Ultramax ammo.  Which, I now stay away from.  It was a very hot reload.  And I've heard of issues with Ultramax, that make it not worth it to me.  You can buy three 100 rnd boxes of Winchester White Box from Wally World, for the same price.  If you have no issues with Ultramax, then... go ahead.

I have bought a lot of ammo cans from Cabela's but now I just stock up at Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart is cheaper, and is a 8 minute drive. Cabelas is a hour and 45 minute drive for me.

Wal-Mart White box 100rd value pack of Winchester 40S&W is something like 15.99 each.  Three hundered rounds for $47.97 plus tax and no shipping.
