Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Adjustable sights for a 1911

What do you have on yours?  I have a full size Springfield and have an old style Pachmayr on it with the factory front still in place. I'm looking for something that doesn't have such sharp edges on it. I like to carry the gun some but the sights are eating me up. Suggestions?

BTW I'm right handed/left eye dominate and I need to have the adjustables to get on the same page as the gun.

I'm not a fan of adjustable sights on a carry weapon. I suggest you switch to a set of Novak low mounts.

I think bo-mar is t he standard.  usts are what i'm using on my current carry 1911.  If you are gonna call it a full blown carry gun you better go fixed.
