I would like to have one, just don't know which one is better.  More reliable, durable, smooth operating, and trigger pull. I know accuracy is not expected, but which is better? Preban type.
Where can I find info on these pistols?

I hope you mean Mac-10, or Tec-9 airsofts......as I'm almost certain, there's aren't PRK legal.

In any event.......Mac-10, and aftermarket parts are more abundant.

I dont' remember the last time I saw any place, selling other than threaded barrel extensions, or magazines.

Mac-10, IMHO

i would get an M11 before a tec 9.  i heard too many stories about pieces breaking off while firing the tec 9.  kimel ap9 is another option.  i had one but never shot it.  looks like a tec9 though.

TEC 9s are POSs

M11s are just slightly better.

Go here....

Check out the MPA 30.  A redone Mac11/9 that uses extremely cheap and reliable sten mags.  I kinda want one for CCW....

I have a kimel ap9, I love it, but I am frightened that one day it will go belly up. Almost no parts are ever available. I even spoke to the person in charge of the parts when the company dies...there ain't much left. I HAD a tec-22...jam-o-matic.

The TEC`s are supposed to be good paper weights, lousy guns.  The MAC has a better track record for reliability but fires from an open bolt so the accuracy is nothing special.  If youre just looking for a blaster I`g go with the MAC.

Open bolt MAC's cost a pretty penny, closed bolt postbans run under $300 though.  I havent seen a tec in a while, dont really care to either.  Looked cool in "Big Trouble in Little China" though.  Id buy a Mac 10/45 if I could find one, seems like the only ones up for grabs are 9mm or .380.

I don't really know what I was thinking, maybe a phase of some sort. Lost the feeling to buy either.
Decided to do an AK build instead.

I had a a interdynamic KG-99 the original tec nine and the thing looked mean as hell and since I was young at the time it was a big hit with my friends but other than that it was junk I sold it for what I paid for it and then some and bought a couple ab-10 pistols from a friend who was only willing to sell them as a pair one. Your probably like why the hell would you sell your kg-99 and buy a ab-10 and to be honest the only reason I bought the thing was because like the mpa rifle that takes those cheap sumi drums (sorry bout spelling) this ab-10 had been converted the same way and I couldnt resist being one of the only ones if not the only one to own one. I still have it laying around and would probably let it go fairly cheap email me for pics if interested. Also buy a m11 theres no point of buying a tec9 its not like the prices are gonna drop anytime soon considering the preban ones are the only one available due to the fact that they went out of buisness years ago. You can get m11's for less than $200 all over the net I plan on getting a sm-11 the stainless model as soon as it comes out with the threaded barrel. Not that I need the thing or even really want it that bad but I love to piss off liberals plus I will have to admit that it is pretty cool looking.

Well... I have a Tec-9 .... I've never had any problem with mine......
Sure it isn't accurate .... I didn't buy it for that..... It's just a "fun" gun.... Something cheap to
fool around with.... ammo is cheap and easy to get.
I had a mac 10 before.... It was good too.... for the $

Question ---- Why are the Open bolt Macs so much more $$$$$ than the colsed bolt ones?

supposedly much easier to convert to full auto.

i think with the money spent on a worthless pos like a tec/mac you could get a full auto glock
