Hi-Power question

Does anyone know if the FN Hi-power Compact in 9mm accepts full size hi-power magazines? I know it would rpotrude, but would it lock and feed?

Kind of an obscure question, but you never know when your resident Hi-power guru is lurking out there....

Yes it will work and feed as long as you don't over insert the mag.

FM makes a "Detective" size IIRC

The FM detective model has a full size frame. Im not aware of any non-custom Hi-powers with a shortened grip frame.

It's possible to insert the mag past the mag catch causing a stoppage as the slide would not be able to go into battery.
