Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need to refinish my kimber

I have a Kimber Compact CDP. The slide is stainless steel and the frame is a black anodized aluminum. I want to get the frame refinished to more closely match the slide.

Good idea or not? If so, what/who would you recommend for a finish?

No Krylon tho.

Metalife can hardchrome alloy frames, it takes a special process with an intermediate plating step, but that's my plan as soon as I has dosposable income again.
