Yeah, neither one fits the gun. Standard diamond checkered black would probably go best.

A third color binds two colors better than one or both of the original colors?

I guess there was a time that I might have agreed with you in the case of 1911s but I've completely changed my mind on that.

Never liked two toned guns. Buy a stainless slide and you will have one beautiful gun. As for the grips, you need to buy yourself another pair.

Good God, bro! You have one HELL of a memory.

That was on Glocktalk.com and it wasn't the Les Baer. I'm thinking it was a S&W 1911. LOL, yeah I got my ass handed to me for that one. I also put some cool black wood grips with finger grooves on my Ruger Super Redhawk. Got verbally raped for those as well.

Black look good on the 2 tone gun. The second set with the silver is fugly.
I think the cocobolo would look good on a solid color pistol, not yours.
