Anyone have experience with this?  I've got an older FN military contract that's going to Novak's when I get home and am considering replaincg the stock trigger with this part.  How much wider is it, say compared to a typical 1911 or SIG trigger?

I've got it, and I absolutely love it. It subjectively lowers the trigger pull for me, just like a trigger shoe does on a 1911. It also tends to keep me from beating up my trigger finger. I did a class a few weekends ago, and ended up shooting about 750 roounds through it in a day. My arm hurt, I ached, but my trigger finger was OK.

It's in the gun safe, but I think it is a bout 10-20% wider than a 1911 trigger. I could be wrong.

It's a good upgrade, IMHO.

I have a question for you...

I installed one of these on my HP...

It causes the trigger lever to sit higher, making the slide impossible to put back on.

I had to take a stone and take off a bit of metal from the top of the trigger lever.

The problem I am having is that I have to put my finger all the forward for the trigger to reset. It does not instinctively reset for a fast follow up shot.

How did you get yours to work so smoothly?

This isn't going to help much... I paid a good gunsmith to do it.

After trying to install a C&S safety on it, I decided discretion was the better part of valour, and took it to someone who does it for a living.
