I picked up a NIB  Marklll Practical model BHP. The gun has great fit and finnish, and looks great with the new cocobolo grips I bought with it but the trigger really SUCKS. I think the trigger pull is around 12 pounds, so the gun is going to the Smith for a trigger job ASAP.

A few pointers to save you some $$$, if I may. Get a Wolff spring set & replace your factory springs. They'll be a bit lighter & smoother. Also have the gunsmith remove the mag safety, it adds a few lbs to the pull, IMO.

Keep in mind you will never achieve the crispness of a 1911 trigger on a HP. They are damn good guns!
