Sorry I know this isn't realy a technical question but I just inherited a 1997 9mm Belgian made Browning Hi-power Mark III. It has been fired less than 400 times. The barrel is more or less perfect and the pistol itself is basically like new in the case in wax paper with the original 2 Italian made Luger/NATO mags. It has been very well taken care of and is very accurate out 50 yards.

I havn't yet decided if I want to sell or not. I'm just trying to get an idea of it's value?

Retail market is probably around $500-$550, expect to get $75-100 less if you sell to a dealer.

I agree.  $550 would be a fair price.  NIB Mark IIIs are at CDNN right now for $699 according to this post.  Like any firearm, the steep depreciation takes place between the dealer's shelf and the first round you send downrange.

I would be interested in it had I not already bought one.
