While I love the concealability of the P11, I despise its loooong trigger travel.  The small size of the platform combined with a long trigger action make it very awkard for me.  I feel as if I'm reaching for my wrist with my index finger when I squeeze the trigger.  

Is there a way to make the trigger break before reaching the very rear?

It does break before reaching the rear. Visit This Site and do White's trigger mod with the eraser. It makes a big difference and so does installing the trigger shoe. It's still a loooong trigger but these little things make it just a bit better.
