I have a P-40 and now see that Kel-Tec no longer offers it, can you tell me why?    Bob Cole

Because the frame and grip have been designed around the 9mm Luger cartridge (K-T P11) and the P40 was just an afterthought.

Too many problems like assembly pins shaking themselves loose to fast, plus FTF and FTE, IIRC.

The p-40 is prone to many problems I used to have one, it never worked right.
