......And why are they so cheap compared to the 75 and 83?
I am thinking about buying one but the last thing I need is another cheap (as in construction) pistol, I want something reliable for carry in my car and sometimes in a fanny pack.

I paid $290 for mine.  It is an excellent gun.  Fit and finish is great.  It is super accurate.  I do not know why they are so inexpensive but they are a great deal.
