Not as a EDC but to carry around in the forest and as a range gun..I have heard the trigger leaves a bit to be desired but I don't mind spending a bit to get what i'm after. I have read on different places that it's possible to get the DA mode to 5 pounds and the SA mode to 21/2-3 pounds..is this true? and who can do it?..thanks

CZ customs or cajun gun works ??

And I'm sure you could google the info and find youtube videos and articles for info on the trigger/swap.

I have owned a few of them. The stock DA trigger does leave something to be desired. Cajun Gun Works sells kits for decocker CZ pistols on their website. If you're handy, install isn't too bad. Cajun Gun Works wasn't taking any new work the last I looked, but they still sell the kits.

Ergonomics are excellent and the pistol feels very light in the hand. I can't remember what David at CGW got the trigger down to, but it was very very light.

This is a pic of the last one I owned. The modded one had their full *pro* kit, and it is night and day difference. https://cajungunworks.com/product/75664-pro-package-for-decockers/

Do you still have your walther for sale?

I've had mine for years and stock it doesn't seem bad to me, but it's had a few thousand rounds down the pipe, too. Go for it.

yes

Sweet. Selling my AK, then buying it if you still have it in a few weeks. I have a FedEx account. We can make this happen.

Keeping it relevant:

As an aside, pricing on these things has been variable. Ie. At one time we didn't think CZ was sending anymore Phantoms to the US, as they were filling a contract for the Czech Army. Now they're all over gunbroker. The pricing now isn't *bad*. At one point, stock Phantoms went for $7-800, used and stock.
