thats a bit more than i'd pay for a pre-b. I have a lot of CZs too. If it wasn't immaculate, i wouldn't spend more than $375

I felt the price was a bit high, but I didn't haggle since I wanted to google it a bit as I've never considered a non-B.
For comparison, there are very nice 226 and new m&p for $400 also. |

If it lacked import marks and was pristine then a Pre B would likely command a premium. Otherwise, most of the Pre Bs that have been offered in the last few years were issued guns and were fairly beat on the exterior. The positives of the Pre B were that the triggers in single action were better than the B models. Double action in the Pre Bs that I've shot were pretty bad but SA was usually fairly nice and broke in the 4lb range. The other differences with the Pre B were the rounded trigger guard and the spur hammer. |
