No, they suck! I shot one and it blew up in my hand! The rounds keyhole at 5 yards! The frames are made of particle board! Run away, run away!!!!!

I read that Combat Handguns August 03 article. It sure made me think about getting one . Which one do you have Mike? If you don't mind saying what you paid ,lets hear that too. From what I read they seem to be worth the money . Plus they would make a good 1911 to build up IMO.

I paid $339 here locally for brand spanking new back in May 2003. I have the standard 1911A1. I like that the U.S. distributor is based in Las Vegas too. So, it's just a quick drive across town to get the warranty or add mods to the gun. I'm thinking of putting night sights on.
