How about this pistol? In a recent Shotgun News article, this pistol had rave reviews. The price with my local FFL is $309.00. I am really considering this. Your thoughts?

Got one of the Detective models, and I love it. A bit rough around the edges, but...

I had one a few years back and never really trusted it.  Something was going on with the firing pin, because maybe one time out of 50 it would fail to fire.  I verified it with the pencil in the barrel trick.  Another thing I didn't like about it was that if you took the mag safety out, sometimes the trigger bar would fail to engage the transfer bar in the slide.  It needed the mag safety to keep the trigger bar oriented correctly.
