Hey guys, just bought a "Loaded" full size with parkerized finish. I was cleaning it when I noticed the frame is marked "FI BRAZIL" just forward of the trigger guard. Does this mean it was produced by Imbel? Is this normal for a "Loaded" parkerized model? I thought only the milspec models were produced by Imbel. Or all the components made in Brazil and just assembled in the States? Any info would help. Thanks.

Springfields frames are made in Brazil. Everything else is U.S. Too my knowledge.

"Forged In"...FI Brazil.
Mine is devoid of that marking but my SA logo stamp is behind the ejection port.
