Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - 2 Piece Barrel- How can you tell?

I heard that some of the newer springfield mil-specs dont have a two peice barrel, and that some actually have kart barrels?  Or something of the sort.  Anyhow, for someone who knows nothing about barrels, how do I tell if its a springfield two piece barrel?

If it is a two piece barrel, you should be able to see a very fine seem right near the where the chamber and barrel meet.
