I'm looking over a friends XD-9 that's been having extraction problems. He's got less than 400 rounds through the gun, and its lucky to make it through a mag without jamming.
After examining the brass there are chamber marks all over it, as well as all the brass that actually ejects. I know some marking is normal but this seems excessive, it looks like what would happen with over pressure rounds almost. I tried the exact same ammo side my side in my G17 with no markings at all.
So my basic question is, could a rough chamber be the cause of his ejection problem?

Maybe....I'd send it back to Springfield. They should only charge him shipping to fix it.
