i have a sa 1911 a1. the gun is ported and has the rear ( i belive bomar adjustable ) sights on the rear sight. i want to know if i can swap these out for the low profile bomar sights, and also will i have to swap the front sight out. also once the parts are swaped out, will if affect the accuracy. also can i do this myself or should a gunsmith do it.....i know a lot of questions....thanks

If you're patient & use a proper padded vise to hold the slide, you should be able to swap out the sight yourself.

No clue on the POI change as I don't know where your gun is hitting nor ammo used nor how the new sight compares to your current setting.

As usual with gun sights, nothing is ever simple.
