Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need advice about my Milspec and getting night sights

I have a relatively new 1911 Springer Mil-Spec. I just got an LE job and I was wondering if anyknows of some night sights I can put on the slide that don't need milling. I talked to Novak and Springfield and they both mill the reciever and put thier sights on and then refinish the slide for over $250. Are there any cheaper alternatives to a Mil-Spec??

I believe Ed Brown may have a tenon  mount night sight.
Do a search on Midway and you should find what  you are looking for.
