I have the XD - 357. It looks like I can get the Bar Sto 9mm barrel and just drop it in? Anything else need to be done to the pistol besides 9mm mags or altered .40 mags?

I think (hopefully someone will confirm or correct me) that it is possible or just a barrell change from .40-.357 and .357-.40, since the .357 uses a necked down .40 case. But for either .40/.357 to 9mm requires a slide change because of the breech face. But anyone with more knowledge please correct me if wrong.

Glad to hear it would just be the cost of a new barrel. I already have a .40 conversion barrel and many .40 and .357 sig mags. With what I've been reading, with little to no modification, I can turn the 12 round .40 mags into 17 round 9mm mags. Just might buy a couple of 9mm mags to. I believe they are 15 or 16 rounders.

you just cant move up in size example 9mm to 357 or 40
357 to 40 is ok though

I think Bar stos are about $200
an eek firedragon can be had for around $150
